Becca demonstrates how to "Steer Horn" and deflect someone trying to set up a "pick" (leg-tackle). Uke is Marie. Most defenses against aggression normally involve using Tai-Sabaki (“getting out of the railroad tracks”, or getting out of the momentum-envelope of your attacker), then deflecting the attacker’s energy with a minimum of carefully focused leverage. Classic Jujitsu uses leverage against strength, ki (focus) against aggression, to carefully manage an attacker’s energy. The idea is “let the attacker do it to himself.” When a conflict degenerates to muscle against muscle, you are no longer practicing a martial art - you’re “mud wrestling”.
