Charlie began his martial arts training at the age of thirteen, studying Tae Kwon Do. Over the years he has also studied Aikido, Hapkido and Budoshin Jujitsu. He currently holds Nikyu rank in Aikido and Shodan (1st degree black belt) in Budoshin Jujitsu.
